HUGE CVS Haul (Lip Butters in Pink Truffle, Peach Parfait, Lollipop and Berry Smoothie, Tresemme, Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and more)

I didn't get all the lip butters in a single purchase. I'm not even sure if I showed all these. I know I posted about "raspberry pie" but not sure haha! Oh well. You can see how the colors compare here!

I also picked up a lot of hair products in addition to the many lip products.

Tresemme hair care! I honestly love Pantene but Tresemme is super nice too.
These were on sale for 7$ for 2 :)

I already have one in my shower but these are like staples. I love Aussie's 3 min miracle. Best leave in conditioner ever. These were on sale for 2.98 so I got two.

John Freida hair dye in 3N or Deep Brown-Black.

My hair was a golden color for summer so I decided to slowly make my way to darker browns for the fall and winter.

After I dyed my hair with this, it was nearly black but after a few washes it went to a dark brown but not as chocolate-y and dark as the color on the box. I think I'll need to dye my hair 1-2 more times to achieve my old dark hair. But it's fine the color is still super nice. It's still technically summer so I have time to get my hair darker.

I will be doing another post specifically on this hair dye!

First Revlon lip butter in "Lollipop".

It is a hot pink that doesn't look that flattering on me since I have olive skin :T

My second favorite. The Revlon Berry Smoothie.

This color is super nice and I believe this color should be flattering for ALL skin tones.

One thing I'm not a fan of is that it's the most melt-y out of all my lip butters.

I don't know why but it's super gross looking like in the picture because of how meltable it is, even in room temperature.

I like the color but I'm kind of meh on the shimmer.

Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait.

I actually really like this color too. This is kind of identical to Berry Smoothie in my opinion.

I don't know if it's because of my lip's natural color or what but it is the exactly the same on my lips.

Looks gorgeous in the tube though!

My favorite of all the lip butters I have purchased. It's kind of like Berry Smoothie without the shimmer.

It's pretty and natural. I think this would be flattering for ALL skin colors too. Love, love, love this!

It's like this dusty rose color.

Revlon Lip Gloss. I don't know why but the pictures with the floral background for this lip gloss was taken in normal room lighting. It LOOKS like a light pink color but it is actually this coral color with gold shimmer.

This is a more right color.

It is the Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in "Peony".

Unlike other lip glosses where the tip is slanted, the brush is flat.

The lip gloss smells terrible but nothing that bad I can't take it. I just think it smells crappy.

The color is worth it though. It's perfect to layer over the lip butters or wear alone.

I took some out already but I bought some hair ties without the metal part because it's better for your hair!

Randomly bought this. I don't know about the smell. It smells kind of good yet kind of gross at the same time.

This is great for a light exfoliation before shaving or to use on a daily basis to get rid of dead skin cells!

A closer look at the scrub :)

September BeautyArmy Update

This month for BeautyArmy I missed my window and they ended up choosing my samples for me. Granted, I checked it once on my phone but I couldn't choose because of some strange glitch.

I checked my samples just now so see what they packed me and surprisingly enough, they choose 4 of the ones that I wanted. The other 2 isn't that bad. I did email them right after receiving the email that my window has closed and they emailed me days later saying it's currently too late -_- But whatever, at least majority of the samples are what I want!

I'm not sure how to post my samples neatly because they changed the layout but here goes!

Let see!

Top Left
Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower Gel

I am SO glad that I didn't get any shower gel because I have a haul coming! I went to Bath and Body Works yesterday because they had a Buy 3 Get 3 Free!
I love the Japanese Cherry Blossom smell, I got the large lotion but I have never tried their shower items so I guess this will be exciting. I wouldn't have picked this because I have so much soap and shower gels but I suppose there's no harm in trying this! Better than a lousy sample that wasn't suited for me :)

Top Center
EMANI Foundation Primer and Hydrating Serum

I actually didn't want this one because I'm not fond of primers. I have 2 already and have neutral opinions of them. One from the ELF mineral collection and one from a previous BA box. They both felt and acted the same way for me. A velvety texture that made my face feel smoother. While my face felt smooth, I didn't feel like it made any difference, which is why I'm not that fond of them. Primers are supposed to help smooth any wrinkles and blemishes over and such but meh. This is supposed to be hydrating so I will use this after my moisturizer and before my BB cream. After testing it out, I won't be using on a daily basis hahah

Top Right
NAILTIQUES Formula 2 Nail Protein

I wanted this when I saw it because I've been recently really intense on my nails. I don't have any nail treatments so this seems like it would be fun to try out. This is already sold out so I wonder if this is a great product or not :)

My nails aren't soft, peeling, bitten, weak or thin but it would be nice to PREVENT them from doing those things! I'll probably end up putting this on my toenails too because they are pretty weak. I chipped off half my toenail from stubbing my toe and .....more. I'd rather not go into it. With that mental image in mind, onto the next sample LOL!

Bottom Left
SKYN ICELAND Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels

I love eye gels because my eye area is always dry and I always sleep really few hours so it is super nice to relax with them on. The dryness has actually improved with the MAC hydrating cream so I might look into that also ;)

It's claiming a lot so hopefully it does everything it says it would. I can't wait!

Bottom Center
LIPSI COSMETICS Aphrodite Powder

This is a finishing powder. Actually now looking at this, I wouldn't have gotten this either. I only use powder occasionally. Because my skin is so dry in the summer, BB cream is enough for me. We'll see how this goes since it says for all skin types and tones! :) I can't wait to see the packaging. I wonder if it will be like the bareMinerals sample with the cute little container hhaha

Bottom Right
NUME Hydro Punch Shampoo

I actually wanted this. I usually HATE getting Shampoo and Conditioner, mainly due to size problems. But the sample is quite generous. I THINK I got the conditioner from BA. I'm totally in love with the conditioner. Mainly because of the smell. It smells sooo good. The conditioner works average but the smell, the smell, the smell. I can't wait!

Ulta Benefit The'yre Real Mascara

So I have been on the fence lately about this mascara and I finally got it at Ulta.

The original price for this is 23$ but at Ulta you get a little one with it! I've heard very good things about this so I was excited to test this out.

The brush is really stiff. There are hard plastic bristle/spikes and at the end is a ball of spikes. You can't really distinguish it in the picture.

I didn't find it that amazing for the price. The Maybelline Falsies gave me the same if not better results. This is really good at separating my eyelashes. There is some volume but doesn't do much for length. After 2 coats, it is clumpy. It doesn't flake for me like other people said. It's hard for me to get it to the root of my eyelashes because the bristles are so hard and plastic-y. The formula is pretty good. It doesn't budge unless you go full-out rubbing your eye.

In my opinion, save your money. It's not worth the 23$ :(

Yet Another Target Haul (Baby Lips, Revlon Lip Butter, Nail Polishes and more!)

Additional to CVS, I have been shopping at Target a lot recently. I never knew how cheap Target was!

They were having huge sales due to back to school. I usually don't shop at Target for cosmetics and especially clothes but I managed to get some stuff :)

First off, I got another Baby Lips. I really like Pink Punch but it's a bit neon pink for my liking. I mean, the formula is great and my lips do feel supple. I got Peach Kiss because some people say it's a more natural color.

I also got the Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover because I ran out of the Philosophy Just Release Me makeup remover. I have been using Just Release Me for a really long time (3 bottles) but it's a bit pricey and my friend recommended this one to me. I decided to try it out.

It has this blue-ish color on the bottom and a milky color on top and when you gently shake it, you get the color in the picture. By shaking it, you activate the remover. It's quite similar to the Just Release Me so I think I will be purchasing this from now on since it's only around 10$ while the Philosophy one is 18$.

I have been dying to try out the Lip Butters.

The first one I got is Raspberry Pie. I saw Ingrid from YouTube using it and it looked great on her.

Target didn't have the color I wanted so I ended up getting this. This is too dark for me to use on a daily basis though. The formula is quite moisturizing but I won't be using this.

It is quite true to color. You get an accurate raspberry color. It's very pretty.

I don't really get nail polishes but when I saw how cheap they are at Target I just went crazy haha.

I did return this though because when I swatched it at home I didn't like it.

I only got this color because it LOOKED similar to OPI's elephantastic pink.

When you put it on, it does look similar but once it dries, it is a bit brighter.
It looks slightly similar but OPI Elephanastic Pink is sooooooooo much better.

Sorry for the out of line polish, I just swatched it really quick haha.

Looks similar to Elephantastic Pink huh?

Teehee, I look unnaturally tan here because of the darkness.

I think I will have the swatch for this in another post but it is more purple-y magenta than in the bottle.

I feel meh about it. It isn't streaky though.

This is a really gorgeous color. The name is "Fall Mood".

The shimmer is just gorgeous. I really, really like this polish.

I have this on in another post I will be posting soon!

I honestly don't know if they meant it to be Lightening or Lightning...

Lightening is such a strange name.

It is the Insta-Dri formula.

The vibrant sunshine yellow attracted me to buy it.
I have been wanting a yellow nail polish for a while now.

Sorry for the blurriness :P

The color is quite pretty but this isn't the true color.

This was piled on top of some Elephantastic Pink.

When you put it by itself or like on top of a base coat, it is a bit streaky and hard to smooth out.

I suppose you can always layer white nail polish below but I ended up returning this solely due to the brush.
It is way too fluffy and strange. I could make it work as you can see above but it was just annoying.

Another polish I got. It is the same formula as the Guava polish above.

This is so pretty. It's this melon color.

My finger looks very, very strange here. I can assure you my finger doesn't look this scary in real life :T

The color is very mellow and pretty.

You can't tell in this picture but the thumb is Guava (it's slightly, slightly darker/brighter).

Index finger: Lightening
Middle: Peachy
Ring/Pinky: Elephantastic Pink

I really like this combination of colors. It's very rainbow-y and girly.

NEXT~ Comes the clothing!

This is a tank I saw on my way to the cashier. Needless to say, I fell in love with the print and didn't bother to try it on since it was on sale.

See the print? It's so pretty!

I had to return it though because the part where it cinches in is very strange.
While it did fit, the bottom part would've looked so much better without the cinch.

I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I got this.

No
Idea
At
All.

This was returned.

Pattern's kind of cute though. This would make a great scarf.

This is pretty cute. It doesn't look much on the hanger but it is very flattering on.

The stripes are pretty cute with the light grey and neon colors.

I really like the front details.

This looks meh on the hanger but pretty on. The hem has ruffles and it is a high low dress.

It is extremely see through so when I wore it out, I wore my A&F grey tank and a pair of white shorts.

Tie-dye pattern!

This dress was the priciest of all the clothing. Probably around 16$ Still pretty good.

I fell in love with the top part and somehow the bottom part works.

It's very comfy. I think with this dress, you can dress it up or dress it down.

I actually got one more item but I returned it and didn't take a picture to show you guys.

That would be the Yes to Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub. When I opened the cap at home and smelled it, the smell was too unbearable for me. I got it for around 10$.
