Valentine's Day and Dreamcatcher Nails

For February and March nails, I decided to do the traditional red and pink theme and for March I had my eye set on a dreamcatcher theme.

Both pictures are of my left hand. My right hand is always a different style because I love to draw out stuff but can't on my right hand because I can't...ya know use my left hand LOL.

Happy 100th Post: October Nails (Breast Cancer and Random)

HAPPY 100TH POST ♥
---------------------------------

I really wanted to do something for breast cancer month that showed my support because I know someone close to me that experienced it. I didn't know how I could express that daily so I decided to do it through my nails! Random fact but my Etsy icon is actually a breast cancer rubber duckie that I got from donating haha.

I had this for the first week but when I got my bow nail stickers on the bottom, I re-did my nails!

I got this for less than a dollar I believe on eBay.

Super cute!

I've also been dying to use my MyGlam nail sticker that I received a really long time ago so I decided this was the perfect chance.

Thumb: I used silver rhinestones to form a ribbon. I know only a pink ribbon supports breast cancer but the background color, I mixed up to a pale shade of pink.
Index: A Revlon color from my previous haul with the bow sticker I bought off eBay
Middle: In a near future haul, I'll show you guys the pearls and some of the rhinestones I used in this finger. But essentially, I stuck random white and various shades of pink onto this finger.
Ring: The MyGlam heart nail sticker. This is actually just half of one. They were super long I decided to go with short nails so half of ONE nail sticker, fit perfectly.
Pinky: Same Revlon nail polish with light pink rhinestones that formed a breast cancer ribbon ♥

This was pretty easy and I hope I've inspired your nails for next October!

Tribal-inspired Nails

Two manicures ago, I decided to do some tribal designs and ended up with these:

All of them took me forever because all I had was tape and a toothpick.

The index finger,
I did with tape. It took a while because I wanted it to be positioned properly and look even :)
The hot pink color from Andrea's Choice made up the design with a yellow background.

The middle finger,
I messed up a bit because I couldn't get it to the pattern I want but not bad! Pink rhinestone in the middle. The design is in gold with a peach background

The ring finger,
Is the most intricate looking one. I had gold dots, peach zig zags and pink stripes over another shade pink as the background.

The pinky finger,
I did gold pluses/crosses over a pink background.

Hope you like this one!

CVS Purchases (Revlon Nail Polish and Aussie Hair Product!)

I went to CVS yet again because I had some cash back from...the Revlon products I bought before so I scoured the store for something to buy since it has an expiration date. I saw two Revlon nail polishes that were super pretty and an Aussie product that caught my eye.

Aussie's Catch the Wave Mousse and leave in conditioner.

For some reason, my hair is still permed from a perm I did nearly a year ago abroad. Usually perms last a really short while for me haha. Since I recently cut my hair, I'm cutting back on the heat. I decided to use a mousse instead. Still some sort of damage from the chemicals and but I don't think it'd be as bad as the heat from the curling wand.

This is really good. I usually put a lot to make sure I get all my hair with the product or else there'd be some limp semi-curly strands. If you put a lot, you'd get some crunch but if you rub it between your fingers, it softens without flaking. It smells delicious and I use this after a shower after squeezing and blotting the water out with a towel. I also love how it has a leave-in conditioner.

Definitely recommend for anyone that's looking for some small beachy waves without the heat.

The tip.

The two nail polishes that caught my eye.

The pink is this dusty rose color and the blue one reminded me of a China Glaze color.

Putting my Cynthia Rowley Band-aid to use! Hahaha

The names of the polishes!

Swatch of the "Vintage Rose" nail polish

This is only one coat. Extremely opaque, no streaking, super love!

Swatch of the "Blue Slate" nail polish

I was too lazy to wipe the vintage rose off, so I just painted it on top hehe.

It's super pretty. It's actually a little bit more grey teal in real life than in the picture though.

Yet Another Target Haul (Baby Lips, Revlon Lip Butter, Nail Polishes and more!)

Additional to CVS, I have been shopping at Target a lot recently. I never knew how cheap Target was!

They were having huge sales due to back to school. I usually don't shop at Target for cosmetics and especially clothes but I managed to get some stuff :)

First off, I got another Baby Lips. I really like Pink Punch but it's a bit neon pink for my liking. I mean, the formula is great and my lips do feel supple. I got Peach Kiss because some people say it's a more natural color.

I also got the Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover because I ran out of the Philosophy Just Release Me makeup remover. I have been using Just Release Me for a really long time (3 bottles) but it's a bit pricey and my friend recommended this one to me. I decided to try it out.

It has this blue-ish color on the bottom and a milky color on top and when you gently shake it, you get the color in the picture. By shaking it, you activate the remover. It's quite similar to the Just Release Me so I think I will be purchasing this from now on since it's only around 10$ while the Philosophy one is 18$.

I have been dying to try out the Lip Butters.

The first one I got is Raspberry Pie. I saw Ingrid from YouTube using it and it looked great on her.

Target didn't have the color I wanted so I ended up getting this. This is too dark for me to use on a daily basis though. The formula is quite moisturizing but I won't be using this.

It is quite true to color. You get an accurate raspberry color. It's very pretty.

I don't really get nail polishes but when I saw how cheap they are at Target I just went crazy haha.

I did return this though because when I swatched it at home I didn't like it.

I only got this color because it LOOKED similar to OPI's elephantastic pink.

When you put it on, it does look similar but once it dries, it is a bit brighter.
It looks slightly similar but OPI Elephanastic Pink is sooooooooo much better.

Sorry for the out of line polish, I just swatched it really quick haha.

Looks similar to Elephantastic Pink huh?

Teehee, I look unnaturally tan here because of the darkness.

I think I will have the swatch for this in another post but it is more purple-y magenta than in the bottle.

I feel meh about it. It isn't streaky though.

This is a really gorgeous color. The name is "Fall Mood".

The shimmer is just gorgeous. I really, really like this polish.

I have this on in another post I will be posting soon!

I honestly don't know if they meant it to be Lightening or Lightning...

Lightening is such a strange name.

It is the Insta-Dri formula.

The vibrant sunshine yellow attracted me to buy it.
I have been wanting a yellow nail polish for a while now.

Sorry for the blurriness :P

The color is quite pretty but this isn't the true color.

This was piled on top of some Elephantastic Pink.

When you put it by itself or like on top of a base coat, it is a bit streaky and hard to smooth out.

I suppose you can always layer white nail polish below but I ended up returning this solely due to the brush.
It is way too fluffy and strange. I could make it work as you can see above but it was just annoying.

Another polish I got. It is the same formula as the Guava polish above.

This is so pretty. It's this melon color.

My finger looks very, very strange here. I can assure you my finger doesn't look this scary in real life :T

The color is very mellow and pretty.

You can't tell in this picture but the thumb is Guava (it's slightly, slightly darker/brighter).

Index finger: Lightening
Middle: Peachy
Ring/Pinky: Elephantastic Pink

I really like this combination of colors. It's very rainbow-y and girly.

NEXT~ Comes the clothing!

This is a tank I saw on my way to the cashier. Needless to say, I fell in love with the print and didn't bother to try it on since it was on sale.

See the print? It's so pretty!

I had to return it though because the part where it cinches in is very strange.
While it did fit, the bottom part would've looked so much better without the cinch.

I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I got this.

No
Idea
At
All.

This was returned.

Pattern's kind of cute though. This would make a great scarf.

This is pretty cute. It doesn't look much on the hanger but it is very flattering on.

The stripes are pretty cute with the light grey and neon colors.

I really like the front details.

This looks meh on the hanger but pretty on. The hem has ruffles and it is a high low dress.

It is extremely see through so when I wore it out, I wore my A&F grey tank and a pair of white shorts.

Tie-dye pattern!

This dress was the priciest of all the clothing. Probably around 16$ Still pretty good.

I fell in love with the top part and somehow the bottom part works.

It's very comfy. I think with this dress, you can dress it up or dress it down.

I actually got one more item but I returned it and didn't take a picture to show you guys.

That would be the Yes to Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub. When I opened the cap at home and smelled it, the smell was too unbearable for me. I got it for around 10$.

Manicure inspired by Ena Matsumoto

A couple weeks ago, I was really fascinated with Ena Matsumoto's nails. Her fashion style is Mod and I really love how simple her manicure was yet so pretty.

Isn't this pretty? I had a hard time doing the dot because I don't know where I put my dotting tool.

I did a poor imitation of it :(

I used the black for the middle and pinky and an OPI color for the dots. This is when I just dotted the dots with the brush. Then I decided to just dot some nail polish on a ziploc bag and then when it dried I chose the perfect ones and put it on my nails.

I did this with another color. It ended up much better.

See how the circles are more perfect than the other one?

I decided to add some gold accents since the pinks were getting a bit dull.

I really like this one.

New Manicure (MyGlam Circus by Andrea's Choice Reverso)

I tried keeping my previous manicure but after trying out Circus Reverso on one finger, I couldn't resist.

It ended up painting my finger and toe nails white.

I cut them and cut my ring fingernail into this almond shape. I then painted the tip into a heart :)

Nice and simple.

Current manicure :)

I went to the movies today and the cashier asked me if I did my nails myself or if I got them done by a professional. I'm glad the time I wasted on my nails did not go wasted hahaha!

I left my ring finger alone because I couldn't bear to erase it yet hahah!

I don't have a huge selection of nail polish so I reuse colors a lot.

Top to bottom:
Color Club in Disco Nap
OPI in Dear Diary
China Glaze in Dress Me Up
OPI in Personal Shopper

Close up :)

New manicure!

I always love doing my nails and I decided to do something outside of my comfort zone!
I did a cheetah pattern with my OPI Do you Lilac it?, OPI Dear Diary and Color Club Disco Nap.

I added rhinestones around the edge because it's in right now.

It did make my manicure die a lot faster though..

I'm doing something new right now. Pictures when I'm done :)
