Valentine's Day and Dreamcatcher Nails

For February and March nails, I decided to do the traditional red and pink theme and for March I had my eye set on a dreamcatcher theme.

Both pictures are of my left hand. My right hand is always a different style because I love to draw out stuff but can't on my right hand because I can't...ya know use my left hand LOL.

New Hobby!

I have been thinking about selling different accessories ever since I picked up a new crafting hobby.

Needle felting!

It's a bit insane since I'm making stuff from 100% natural wool. It's super fun to do though. I'll post a haul on everything I got. I used up some of the wool already though but it's okay haha.

Panda Keychain!

Unicorn!

I made a cupcake too but it looks super derps :(

eBay Ice Cream iPhone cases and Pearls

I saw on eBay this really cute case but then when I received it, it was more of a dark teal/green color which looks super weird. It was supposed to be a really cute baby blue color.

Sorry for the blurry photo but you can see the front is like ice cream melting down over the screen.

I got these pearls for decoden! I will show you guys the results in a post later on :) It's super cute!

Anyway I got the pink one instead because it looked cuter and you can't go wrong with pink.

Because the decoden items are importing from Japan, I didn't get to use the pearls yet.

Then seeing how the case matches with the pearls, I got tempted and then I sort of bling-pearled it.

I think it's cute! It adds an extra oompf to the case! I love having OOAK cases!

eBay Baby Blue suede cords

I have seen some pretty bracelets on Etsy and Tumblr made by suede cords so I decided to look around on eBay for some. There were an overwhelming amount of colors to choose from! I finally decided on light blue. I ended up making a wrap bracelet. I like to wear it with my white fossil watch and Jewelmint bow bracelet.

I got so many!

(Actually just 10 one meters LOL)

1.04$

I braided it and knotted it in some areas.

Strangely enough, the clasp and hook is even more expensive than all of the cords together.
I believe it was either 2$ at Jo-Anns or my local craft/bead store. It's always more worth it if you buy in bulk though!
I have bought clasp/hooks from Jo-Ann and eBay before though. There are so many designs to choose from!

I really want to try brown suede next! Matches everything :)

Easy and fun DIY to do!

How I fixed/disguised the hole in my Toms

I was super devastated when my grey Toms acquired a huge hole in the toe area. I really want to get new ones but at the same time I only had these for 1-2 years. Honestly though, the leather sole has cracked and died already but I continued to wear them. I mean, they're not that noticeable after walking in them for a while but they are still pretty bad. They are soooo comfortable but the quality doesn't last very long :(

Anyway, I knew I can't keep wearing my Toms with a hole in it so at first, I wanted to stud it. I tried to look for some cool patterns and designs online but found out that the hole was so big I couldn't even stud it.

I first sewed the hole close.

BUT. LOOK AT THIS. This is sooo noticeable.

It looks so bad and strange.

THEREFORE.

Ta-da!

I painted over it! I painted cherry blossoms (sakura) all over it.

I did this for both shoes because it'd be weird if only one shoe had the flowers!

See! You can barely see the fixed hole anymore :) The thing that worries me is that I didn't bother buying fabric paint. I just found some acrylic paint and used that. I hope it doesn't crack or run or smudge haha.

If you have a hole in your Toms and you're decent at painting, you should give this a go. You could also be smarter than me and get fabric paint just to be sure. This was a really fun project. I planned it out on a white piece of paper and then just followed it as I painted on the Toms.

I didn't even wait a day to wear it because it dried so fast. I've gotten plenty of compliments on it so you should try it out if you dare x) It took several hours though!

Why spend like..90$+ to have someone paint it for you when you can do it yourself?!

HAVE FUN ♥

Joann's Haul

I have been going to Joann's a LOT recently. I had some coupons so I decided to get some more fabrics and stuff.

Fabric I got to be the lining of the purses I'm planning to make! I just love music notes and the rainbow-ness of the first fabric. The second and third is just these really gorgeous florals that I couldn't help but get.

It doesn't show that well but it's a peachy pink with light pink florals.

A reddish pink with dark pink florals.

Treble clef!! Some eighth and sixteenth notes :) I love how it's rainbow!

The vinyl I got to match the floral linings. The music note I will be using with the blue or black vinyl I already have.

The rest of the stuff I got! (I left out the blue ribbon in this picture oops!)

A ribbon that I got to make a bow!

I'm thinking about selling bows. I'm still waiting for the alligator clips though!

A pretty heart bracelet clasp thingy I got. It'll appear in my first ever DIY post.

I thought since I do so much DIY stuff, I might as well start doing some DIY posts :)

More magnetic clasps because I was running out.

I was planning on making some bracelets!

Some pretty and cheap beads I found.

I was running out so I bought more since they were 50% off!!

I needed some embroidery threads because I ran out of the color a customer wanted :)

More ribbon!

Bracelets after I was done :)

I really like this combination!

Rose Ribbon

I don't know why but I have been shopping on eBay recently. I guess it's the cheap prices that attract me but a few days ago, I received something I bought a few weeks ago.

I found the prettiest ribbon ever and I couldn't help myself and bidded on the auction.

Isn't this design just the prettiest? It's this peachy pink and it has pink roses on it.

Surprisingly, the quality is really sturdy and smooth. I got two yards for around 1.20$ which is REALLY cheap. The ribbons I see at Joann's...SOME are around this price after coupons but a lot are like 4-5$ per spool.

So I decided to make ribbon bows with it. I ended up making three hair bows and a pair of earrings.

I just realized I only took a picture of two of the three hair bows and the earrings but oh well!

These would be really nice to wear with a hairband or ponytail or just on the side of the head haha.

I'm really considering selling these hair bows on Etsy.

Joann's #1 Haul

I went to Joann's last week to grab some stuff I needed to make some stuff I WANTED to make.

Pictures of what I got and what I made below

Magnetic clasps for the purse I wanted to make, superglue, to glue the fabric together (I don't have a sewing machine!), and some glue sticks.

I found these in the 50% sales rack~
Black Nylon/Faux Leath
Colorful fabric for the lining!

I got this from my instagram since no point in taking new pictures!

Lavender-y blue nylon/faux leather
Cobalt fabric for the lining!

The results!

I'm really happy with the results so I think I might sell them on my shop at Electricvio.etsy.com
You might be able to see the ribbon sticking out in the lavender blue envelope purse. I think I am going to put chains on them so they can hang off my shoulder!

Can't wait!

TopHatter

I recently discovered a website called TopHatter and I managed to sell a piece there. Unfortunately, the picture didn't upload correctly and no one saw how the necklace looked but some people did bid on it.

Somehow, I successfully sold that piece despite the picture incident. So right after I shipped the necklace, I created a new piece.

Ta-da! A necklace made from gauge wire and a dangling pearl for the finishing touch!

Hopefully this sells well~
