HUGE CVS Haul (Lip Butters in Pink Truffle, Peach Parfait, Lollipop and Berry Smoothie, Tresemme, Aussie 3 Minute Miracle and more)

I didn't get all the lip butters in a single purchase. I'm not even sure if I showed all these. I know I posted about "raspberry pie" but not sure haha! Oh well. You can see how the colors compare here!

I also picked up a lot of hair products in addition to the many lip products.

Tresemme hair care! I honestly love Pantene but Tresemme is super nice too.
These were on sale for 7$ for 2 :)

I already have one in my shower but these are like staples. I love Aussie's 3 min miracle. Best leave in conditioner ever. These were on sale for 2.98 so I got two.

John Freida hair dye in 3N or Deep Brown-Black.

My hair was a golden color for summer so I decided to slowly make my way to darker browns for the fall and winter.

After I dyed my hair with this, it was nearly black but after a few washes it went to a dark brown but not as chocolate-y and dark as the color on the box. I think I'll need to dye my hair 1-2 more times to achieve my old dark hair. But it's fine the color is still super nice. It's still technically summer so I have time to get my hair darker.

I will be doing another post specifically on this hair dye!

First Revlon lip butter in "Lollipop".

It is a hot pink that doesn't look that flattering on me since I have olive skin :T

My second favorite. The Revlon Berry Smoothie.

This color is super nice and I believe this color should be flattering for ALL skin tones.

One thing I'm not a fan of is that it's the most melt-y out of all my lip butters.

I don't know why but it's super gross looking like in the picture because of how meltable it is, even in room temperature.

I like the color but I'm kind of meh on the shimmer.

Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait.

I actually really like this color too. This is kind of identical to Berry Smoothie in my opinion.

I don't know if it's because of my lip's natural color or what but it is the exactly the same on my lips.

Looks gorgeous in the tube though!

My favorite of all the lip butters I have purchased. It's kind of like Berry Smoothie without the shimmer.

It's pretty and natural. I think this would be flattering for ALL skin colors too. Love, love, love this!

It's like this dusty rose color.

Revlon Lip Gloss. I don't know why but the pictures with the floral background for this lip gloss was taken in normal room lighting. It LOOKS like a light pink color but it is actually this coral color with gold shimmer.

This is a more right color.

It is the Revlon Colorburst lip gloss in "Peony".

Unlike other lip glosses where the tip is slanted, the brush is flat.

The lip gloss smells terrible but nothing that bad I can't take it. I just think it smells crappy.

The color is worth it though. It's perfect to layer over the lip butters or wear alone.

I took some out already but I bought some hair ties without the metal part because it's better for your hair!

Randomly bought this. I don't know about the smell. It smells kind of good yet kind of gross at the same time.

This is great for a light exfoliation before shaving or to use on a daily basis to get rid of dead skin cells!

A closer look at the scrub :)

CVS Purchases (Revlon Nail Polish and Aussie Hair Product!)

I went to CVS yet again because I had some cash back from...the Revlon products I bought before so I scoured the store for something to buy since it has an expiration date. I saw two Revlon nail polishes that were super pretty and an Aussie product that caught my eye.

Aussie's Catch the Wave Mousse and leave in conditioner.

For some reason, my hair is still permed from a perm I did nearly a year ago abroad. Usually perms last a really short while for me haha. Since I recently cut my hair, I'm cutting back on the heat. I decided to use a mousse instead. Still some sort of damage from the chemicals and but I don't think it'd be as bad as the heat from the curling wand.

This is really good. I usually put a lot to make sure I get all my hair with the product or else there'd be some limp semi-curly strands. If you put a lot, you'd get some crunch but if you rub it between your fingers, it softens without flaking. It smells delicious and I use this after a shower after squeezing and blotting the water out with a towel. I also love how it has a leave-in conditioner.

Definitely recommend for anyone that's looking for some small beachy waves without the heat.

The tip.

The two nail polishes that caught my eye.

The pink is this dusty rose color and the blue one reminded me of a China Glaze color.

Putting my Cynthia Rowley Band-aid to use! Hahaha

The names of the polishes!

Swatch of the "Vintage Rose" nail polish

This is only one coat. Extremely opaque, no streaking, super love!

Swatch of the "Blue Slate" nail polish

I was too lazy to wipe the vintage rose off, so I just painted it on top hehe.

It's super pretty. It's actually a little bit more grey teal in real life than in the picture though.

CVS Mini Haul (Marc Anthony Easy Lites and more hair products)

I have been going to CVS so much lately. When I mean "so much", I literally mean SO MUCH. I go to CVS several times a week. It's terrible haha!

I believe this was two weeks ago.

I wanted some highlights but I was going to the salon soon then. I decided to experiment with my hair before I get everything chopped. I looked up some easy highlighting kits and decided to get the Marc Anthony Easy Lites. While I was at CVS, I ended up picking up several other things because they were too cheap to pass up.

This is how the box looks like.

Click on the picture to zoom if you can't read it.

It comes with gloves, a spray bottle and instructions.

Basically how this works is you use it on dry hair. You spray the formula onto a strand (or even your whole head) and you flatiron the strand. The more you flatiron it, the more blonde it gets. Usually a few swipes did the trick but it took me a bit longer.

I wanted some natural honey blonde highlights to match my light brown hair.

What's so bad about this is first, you shouldn't flatiron damp or wet hair. Because flatiron is already terrible for your hair but when your hair is damp or wet, it is very weak. That is why you shouldn't comb your hair without a wide tooth comb when it's wet.

Because I was cutting my hair the next day, I decided to do it to the ends of my hair for this slight ombre effect.

The results were pretty nice but my hair was completely fried and crunchy. It was absolutely disgusting. I was so glad I was cutting my hair off afterwards.

I recommend this for virgin hair or hair that has been only dyed once or twice. It is absolutely not right for people with hair like mine. I dyed my hair often and experiment with bleaching way too much. I had a lot of split ends. It just makes everything worse. Not surprised though.

I still kind of like this. Maybe when I have healthy hair again ;)

Around 10$

I love Aussie because of their 3 minute miracle leave in conditioner (which I recently bought 2 more bottles).

This was on sale for around 3 dollars I believe. I looked up the reviews on Amazon and they were pretty good so I decided to get it.

It smells slightly strange. The cream is white and pretty thick. I wouldn't say it weighed down my hair but it didn't make my hair less frizzy or smooth. I don't have insane frizzy hair but my hair is not as together as I'd like. Does that make sense? My hair just kind of separates when I comb it.

I don't recommend it. It doesn't do anything for me. Maybe it will work for other people though!

I really like this. A few of my ends are still crunchy from the Marc Anthony and I just put a little bit of this and blow dry it and it makes everything soft. Apparently the blow dry KIT was terrible and this is different. The reviews were pretty good and I got this because this was on sale also. I use this when I decide to blow dry my hair straight since I have wavy hair.

It does help keep the frizz down. For some reason, if I don't air dry my hair, my hair separates and gets frizzy. This minimizes it. It isn't a miracle product or my "HG" but it does help achieve less frizzy hair.

I'd say definitely check it out!

I believe I got this around 3$ too.
