Random Ulta Item

The last Ulta Haul I had, I forgot to post this nail polish. Honestly, it was so bad it doesn't even have a place in my head if that makes sense LOL

Sally Hansen's nail polish pen in Sheer Pink.

Save your money.

It's not opaque enough and way too streaky. You probably would get better results with a white polish underneath but meh. It's true to name. Way too sheer. It's like this streaky milky color. I'll stick to my OPI Dear Diary. While this is sheer, if you paint like 3 coats, you get this pretty sheer pale pink.

Yet Another Target Haul (Baby Lips, Revlon Lip Butter, Nail Polishes and more!)

Additional to CVS, I have been shopping at Target a lot recently. I never knew how cheap Target was!

They were having huge sales due to back to school. I usually don't shop at Target for cosmetics and especially clothes but I managed to get some stuff :)

First off, I got another Baby Lips. I really like Pink Punch but it's a bit neon pink for my liking. I mean, the formula is great and my lips do feel supple. I got Peach Kiss because some people say it's a more natural color.

I also got the Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover because I ran out of the Philosophy Just Release Me makeup remover. I have been using Just Release Me for a really long time (3 bottles) but it's a bit pricey and my friend recommended this one to me. I decided to try it out.

It has this blue-ish color on the bottom and a milky color on top and when you gently shake it, you get the color in the picture. By shaking it, you activate the remover. It's quite similar to the Just Release Me so I think I will be purchasing this from now on since it's only around 10$ while the Philosophy one is 18$.

I have been dying to try out the Lip Butters.

The first one I got is Raspberry Pie. I saw Ingrid from YouTube using it and it looked great on her.

Target didn't have the color I wanted so I ended up getting this. This is too dark for me to use on a daily basis though. The formula is quite moisturizing but I won't be using this.

It is quite true to color. You get an accurate raspberry color. It's very pretty.

I don't really get nail polishes but when I saw how cheap they are at Target I just went crazy haha.

I did return this though because when I swatched it at home I didn't like it.

I only got this color because it LOOKED similar to OPI's elephantastic pink.

When you put it on, it does look similar but once it dries, it is a bit brighter.
It looks slightly similar but OPI Elephanastic Pink is sooooooooo much better.

Sorry for the out of line polish, I just swatched it really quick haha.

Looks similar to Elephantastic Pink huh?

Teehee, I look unnaturally tan here because of the darkness.

I think I will have the swatch for this in another post but it is more purple-y magenta than in the bottle.

I feel meh about it. It isn't streaky though.

This is a really gorgeous color. The name is "Fall Mood".

The shimmer is just gorgeous. I really, really like this polish.

I have this on in another post I will be posting soon!

I honestly don't know if they meant it to be Lightening or Lightning...

Lightening is such a strange name.

It is the Insta-Dri formula.

The vibrant sunshine yellow attracted me to buy it.
I have been wanting a yellow nail polish for a while now.

Sorry for the blurriness :P

The color is quite pretty but this isn't the true color.

This was piled on top of some Elephantastic Pink.

When you put it by itself or like on top of a base coat, it is a bit streaky and hard to smooth out.

I suppose you can always layer white nail polish below but I ended up returning this solely due to the brush.
It is way too fluffy and strange. I could make it work as you can see above but it was just annoying.

Another polish I got. It is the same formula as the Guava polish above.

This is so pretty. It's this melon color.

My finger looks very, very strange here. I can assure you my finger doesn't look this scary in real life :T

The color is very mellow and pretty.

You can't tell in this picture but the thumb is Guava (it's slightly, slightly darker/brighter).

Index finger: Lightening
Middle: Peachy
Ring/Pinky: Elephantastic Pink

I really like this combination of colors. It's very rainbow-y and girly.

NEXT~ Comes the clothing!

This is a tank I saw on my way to the cashier. Needless to say, I fell in love with the print and didn't bother to try it on since it was on sale.

See the print? It's so pretty!

I had to return it though because the part where it cinches in is very strange.
While it did fit, the bottom part would've looked so much better without the cinch.

I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I got this.

No
Idea
At
All.

This was returned.

Pattern's kind of cute though. This would make a great scarf.

This is pretty cute. It doesn't look much on the hanger but it is very flattering on.

The stripes are pretty cute with the light grey and neon colors.

I really like the front details.

This looks meh on the hanger but pretty on. The hem has ruffles and it is a high low dress.

It is extremely see through so when I wore it out, I wore my A&F grey tank and a pair of white shorts.

Tie-dye pattern!

This dress was the priciest of all the clothing. Probably around 16$ Still pretty good.

I fell in love with the top part and somehow the bottom part works.

It's very comfy. I think with this dress, you can dress it up or dress it down.

I actually got one more item but I returned it and didn't take a picture to show you guys.

That would be the Yes to Tomatoes Daily Pore Scrub. When I opened the cap at home and smelled it, the smell was too unbearable for me. I got it for around 10$.

August 2012 MyGlam

I actually received this among the early Glammies but delayed this post.

This month is mehish for me. Half fail half awesome~

This month's bag is pretty cute and super sturdy. No bad smells. Seems like MyGlam finally stepped it up in the bag area. The card this month is super pretty too.

The items this month.

I was a bit excited to see this. I got a panic attack when I thought I got white again but no! I got a Neon Pink!

It's called Ringmaster. I really like this color. The picture does not do it justice on how neon it is.

While I like it, I can see why some people are turned off by it, particularly the middle aged crowd.

My mom just took one look at it and said some colors want to make you throw up and this is one of those colors hahahahah. This color take a few coats to get a solid opaque color.

The swatch is over a coat of OPI's Elephantastic Pink so it's not as neon as it should be. I might update a picture of the true swatch. But it's basically a highlighter pink.

Salty eyeshadow. I don't know why they sent a white one but whatever. A lot of people hate it but I tried it anyway.

Surprisingly enough, it's not a white color but more of a lavender purple when sunlight hits it. It's okay for a inner corner highlighter but I don't think I would be using this much.

The color is "Glama-ZOID!" Doesn't make much sense to be either LOL.

I really like this picture! It's so artistic looking to me haha I'm really proud.

Anyway, this is Eclos anti-aging regenerative cream. I don't really like the Eclos items because they're more aimed towards the middle age group. This smells really nice though.

All anti-aging.

I hate this with a passion. It smells like crapola, excuse my french but this should never be given to anyone. Ever. It's disgusting.

I love love love this. This is valued at 10$. It smells like dragon fruit or lychee if you think about it.

It smells sweet and yummy. I really want to buy more of their scents!

Oh god. I had shivers when I saw this.

No more China MyGlam products please. These are like the Forever 21 no brand makeup.

Please don't send us anymore! First the brushes now cosmetics!

I never tried this on and I will never. If anyone wants it or wants to trade for it... go for it. Leave a comment or something.

Color is kind of gorgeous though.

August 2012 BirchBox (Pictures of Items AND Beauty School Pamphlet)

This is the August box!

I included ALL pictures. That means the pictures of the Beauty School Pamphlet too! I PRETTY sure other people are not going to post all of them. Maybe some have, I don't know but I've taken pictures of them just to be sure any one who reads my blog can see the tips too! Click on them to see them more clearly. I made the picture size bigger just so you can read them clearly!

Items in my BirchBox.

When I first open up the tissue paper.

I'm surprised it's this stuffed because the paper listed only 4 items but I guess the razor mainly takes up the space haha.

Everything!

Inside the little bundle.

I've been wanting to try this spray. I own the Viva La Juicy and it's one of my most most most favorites. So naturally, I was excited for this one. Honestly, it smells the same to me hahaha. Maybe a little bit sweeter.

Miss Jessie's Quick Curls. I used it once already. It didn't....do anything haha.

I have wavy hair and was hoping this would define them even further but it honestly doesn't do anything to my hair. I used it when my hair was damp but not dripping.

I was surprised when I saw this. I wasn't sure how they were going to let us sample these but I guess taping them to a piece of paper works hahah.

The instructions. I have yet to use them.

Although I wish they were smaller and they gave us more.

It seems to have way too much product inside to fix a little mistake or smudged makeup.

The item that everyone got in their box. I was actually excited for this.

I usually use either disposable razors or the ones that you throw out after a month or so.

This is a razor where you change the head. I've used it twice already and I fell in love with it.

They included two coupons for the replacement head and shaving cream.

The heads are a bit pricey for my taste though. But they're not THAT bad at Target which I believe is like 15-18 for 4 heads or something.

When you shave you get this sticky serum coming off the razor which I believe is the hydrating part. I've never seen a razor with the strip useful though so I was pleased with it.

I think I will be buying replacement heads for this. I really like this.

I was happy when I got this because I've seen Pixi makeup but I have never bought them because I don't know if their stuff is good.

I got the Lid Last Shadow Pen in Graphite Glint.

It looks a bit black here but it's this dark grey shimmery color.

Swatch.

I like it but it rubs off way too easily.

I also haven't looked up how to twist it or whatever. I don't know if there's more product after the tip. I'm pretty sure there is because why would you waste so much plastic if you don't have more inside? So I need to do some research how to get the rest out ahha.

Pencils of Promise! This month is aimed towards building a new school in Central America!
