Ulta Benefit The'yre Real Mascara

So I have been on the fence lately about this mascara and I finally got it at Ulta.

The original price for this is 23$ but at Ulta you get a little one with it! I've heard very good things about this so I was excited to test this out.

The brush is really stiff. There are hard plastic bristle/spikes and at the end is a ball of spikes. You can't really distinguish it in the picture.

I didn't find it that amazing for the price. The Maybelline Falsies gave me the same if not better results. This is really good at separating my eyelashes. There is some volume but doesn't do much for length. After 2 coats, it is clumpy. It doesn't flake for me like other people said. It's hard for me to get it to the root of my eyelashes because the bristles are so hard and plastic-y. The formula is pretty good. It doesn't budge unless you go full-out rubbing your eye.

In my opinion, save your money. It's not worth the 23$ :(

Random Ulta Item

The last Ulta Haul I had, I forgot to post this nail polish. Honestly, it was so bad it doesn't even have a place in my head if that makes sense LOL

Sally Hansen's nail polish pen in Sheer Pink.

Save your money.

It's not opaque enough and way too streaky. You probably would get better results with a white polish underneath but meh. It's true to name. Way too sheer. It's like this streaky milky color. I'll stick to my OPI Dear Diary. While this is sheer, if you paint like 3 coats, you get this pretty sheer pale pink.

ULTA Mini Haul (OPI nail polishes and more)

I don't know a better place to get OPI polishes so I decided to go to Ulta. I'm not really a nail polish person. I do paint my nails at all times but I rarely get new polishes...until now! I have a lot of new nail polishes coming up besides this post :)

This is the random item in this mostly nail polish haul ahaha.

Ever since I cut my hair, I wanted a ceramic round brush to blow dry my hair, esp my bangs.

7$

The most important thing to painting your nail is having a VERY good base coat. NEVER skimp out on your base coat! I had been and my nails have been turning yellow because they are not protected from the nail polishes I use. Dark polishes especially stain your nails.

I did a lot of research and decided to get the Natural Nail Base Coat from OPI. It is purple-y pink in the bottle but clear when you put it on. It dries matte. My hair have stopped being yellow now. This is my current HG base coat for me :) It was not that expensive either. I believe it was either the regular 8.50 or a LITTLE bit more pricey.

The second OPI polish also had a lot of good reviews. It is this gorgeous pink color called Elephantastic Pink. One or two coats give you a fabulous and perfect color.

I also need a top coat. I have terrible experience with dented nails so I decided to pick a fast drying top coat.
I've used ORLY before and they are a bit pricey. Because I had good experience with their nail polishes, I decided to get this.
It says one coat over their nail polishes but I don't hahah. It does do what it says it does though.
Within a few minutes, the top is hard. No more dented nails! It gives you a nice shine too.
I usually do two coats.

I definitely recommend all three nail polishes!
