August BeautyArmy Selections

It's this time of the month again! No I'm not talking about that one! BeautyArmy selection time! Super excited.

I have to admit, the first two days of my selection window were terrible because I couldn't wake up close enough to 9 to choose decent samples. So, finally today I woke up super early to choose my box. Only for you BeautyArmy!

These are my selections this month:

I already got the CellCeuticals last month but they didn't have that much selections that I wanted. Also, I really love CellCeuticals so hey why not?

Anyway!

The only reason why I put up with the semi-crappy selections is because of the Vita-K Professional Age Spots. I don't really have acne but I have a lot of hyper pigmentation so I was hoping this worked. Some reviews claimed it worked. It's also full-size which is awesome. For hyperpigmentation, I've been using Black Opal's Advanced Dual Complex Fade Gel. It doesn't work at all. I don't know why since it had such great reviews on Amazon.

Besides the Vita-K, all my other selections I only have a LITTLE bit of interest. I'm pretty sure some of these selections are awesome though. I guess I'm prepared to be surprised! Haven't been disappointed yet by BeautyArmy!

Pretty And Cute Haul and Review (Skin 79 Brightening Mask and My Beauty Diary masks)

Prettyandcute.com is a website I've been hearing about for a while and finally my curiosity caved in and I looked at EVERYTHING they had. I had to control myself and I ended up just getting two masks and one jar of mask.

I got my order in 4 days! I got the cheapest shipping method which is their expedited mail innovations (3-5 business days).

I got 2 My Beauty Diary masks because I heard good things about them and I wanted to try it out before getting the box hhah.

It came in this little box. They packed my order with Styrofoam peanuts so they don't move around!

Skin79 Lemon Brightening mask.

I actually wanted to get the Skin79 Rose Moisturizing mask jar too but I don't this much masks right now since I got the 30 pack in Marukai.

The mask in the box!

The back. I didn't know it was made in Korea. Very awesome.

Ingredients!

The inside. The first thing I see is the interestingly shaped scooper haha.

The front of the jar and the spoon!

A Home self spa mask LOL.

The back. They have this shiny sticker too on the left hand side.

It's good to know that my mask is all sealed :)

After one mask, I still have this much left.

It's this really thick consistency so it makes slathering on the face easier and you know you didn't miss a spot.
The smell is this wonderful citrusy smell.

I left mine on for around 15-20 minutes instead of the 10-15 haha. It did moisturize my skin for some reason.  I thought it would dry out my skin because of the lemon properties but it hydrated my skin more than brighten it. My skin feels really nice after this mask.

I got the Pearl and Black Pearl masks.

Amazing reviews.

I will be updating this post after I use these!

My little sample! I'm still not that sure how to apply this, so I will be doing some research. All I know is that it has brightening properties!

In all, Pretty and Cute is a pretty good company. I love how fast the shipping is and the prices are pretty reasonable. I have my eye on the extensions. So maybe next time!

Abercrombie & Fitch Haul

I had a gift card with a little bit of money left from Christmas for Abercrombie and Fitch and they were having this amazing sale so I decided to go.

Last time, I went I got this beautiful floral dress and they had more when I went!!

I picked up some stuff that were all on sale. I had a little coupon they gave me last time for stuff that's regular priced but everything I wanted were on sale so I didn't get to use it :(

When I saw this one sale, I was so excited. I always wanted an Abercrombie and Fitch cardigan!

This is a size small so I was uber happy.

The A above the pocket! It's this terry cloth material.

Now, I was pretty excited when I saw their dresses were even more on sale.

But when I saw this print, I quickly scanned the sizes. Thank goodness. I found a small. I was so scared it would be an extra small because usually they have like a REALLY large size left or a REALLY small size left .

I just thought that this print was super cute because it's polka dots and bows.

Closer look on it :)

Another dress I got. Stripes!

A peplum tube top! I eyed these for a while now and when they went on sale, I couldn't help but get one.

I usually don't wear red but this one looked the best on me.

The bow belt is to die for too!

The pattern is this pretty white flower :)

Shorts! I don't have many shorts because I don't have slim legs but I'm starting to enjoy wearing them.

Body peace! It's California so I can't really avoid shorts anymore haha.

The logo is like the same as my cardigan but the colors switched haha.

The back!

I like these shorts with tights haha!

Rose Ribbon

I don't know why but I have been shopping on eBay recently. I guess it's the cheap prices that attract me but a few days ago, I received something I bought a few weeks ago.

I found the prettiest ribbon ever and I couldn't help myself and bidded on the auction.

Isn't this design just the prettiest? It's this peachy pink and it has pink roses on it.

Surprisingly, the quality is really sturdy and smooth. I got two yards for around 1.20$ which is REALLY cheap. The ribbons I see at Joann's...SOME are around this price after coupons but a lot are like 4-5$ per spool.

So I decided to make ribbon bows with it. I ended up making three hair bows and a pair of earrings.

I just realized I only took a picture of two of the three hair bows and the earrings but oh well!

These would be really nice to wear with a hairband or ponytail or just on the side of the head haha.

I'm really considering selling these hair bows on Etsy.

Palty Macaroon Beige Review (and mistake story) and Palty Sakura Creamy results (month later)

So a while ago, I bought two boxes of Palty's Macaroon Beige because I wanted to go lighter for the summer. Well, summer is half way gone but whatever haha.

Around a month ago, I dyed my hair with Palty's Sakura Creamy. I'm really happy with the results but I wanted something a bit lighter. I'd probably keep Sakura Creamy for the springtime. Not too dark not too light. It held up pretty nice. I didn't get a shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair until I bought the Macaroon Beige and despite this, Sakura Creamy didn't fade at all. You did see around an inch of dark roots but it sort of blended really nice and gave my hair dimension.

I'll write about my experience and my mistake with the Macaroon Beige!

Anyway, so in my Marukai haul, I showed the boxes.

The color is pretty ashy blonde.

Let me show you my "before" hair first.

Excuse the messiness and the bra strap! But this was a quick photo I took before I dyed my hair with the Macaroon Beige.

As you can see, my hair is pretty fried at the ends! The color held up really nicely though.

I took this picture near the window so the top is a bit darker and blue-r than the rest of my head.

So.

After pictures.

This is right after. It's pretty close to the color on the box.

This was taken under my bathroom light.

This was taken under sunlight. It's kind of a really really light brown.

This was taken under desk light.

As you can see, the color changes a LOT depending on where I take the picture.

A curl! Heatless. I was on YouTube searching ways to curl my hair without heat since I'm dyeing it so much!

Time for my mistake story!

So, I washed my hair TWO times with shampoo after I dyed my hair with the Palty dye but some how I missed this glob in the front. By the time I noticed it, 2-3 hours passed!

I suspected Palty had bleach in this dye because it lightened dark hair too. But wow. I did not know it was that strong. By the time I washed it out, my hair was super pale. That picture does not do the damage justice. My hair was stringy and breaking off. It was STRETCHY. It was terrible.

I'm just glad that it was in the front, so I cut the ones that were just REALLY damaged so they joined my front bangs. It's so blonde I didn't know what to do. I had some Manic Panic leftover from when I dyed my hair purple 2 years ago. I dyed the top part purple and it ended up blending into my other hair despite it being so dark a color and I dyed the bottom a turquoise.

This is what I got. It looks kind of green in the picture though. I washed my hair several times after dyeing it turquoise and it turned into this lime green/straw colored dark blonde. I'm either dyeing the top part blonde because it's just Palty then chops off to the color so it blends or just cutting it off or just dyeing it purple so it fades to a brown haha.

I had to deep condition with my K-pak and then follow it up with Aussie's deep conditioner because my hair was so damaged. Because my hair is around my rib/waist area, I think I'm going to cut my dead ends off. Thank god for deep conditioners because my hair is still shiny and soft despite how much I abuse my hair!

So long story short, remember to REALLY REALLY take good care to wash ALL of Palty's hair dye off! I just got lucky that it's in the front so I noticed the dye and also I can cut it off if it's too damaged.

LOVE Earrings

I was shopping through eBay a few weeks ago and I've noticed earrings where words would hang just on the edge of the ear. If you can't visualize or don't understand what I'm saying. I'll show you the one I got :)

I'll give you links to the earrings I'll talk about!

They look meh but when you put them on, they look really special and feminine. I got the LOVE one.

I didn't buy it from this seller since I bid on mine. The one I linked is still really cheap. I got mine for 99 cents I believe.

I also saw KISS and these cute flowers and bowknots. They are the cheapest ones that I have found.

The flower one looks like this:

I already ordered the pink/purple colored stone flower and bowknot one!

The KISS has a black color, pink color, red color or a white color. The Bow one has a pink/purple stone color, green stone color, or a black flower color since the green and pink/purple stone ones have I believe a pink flower and a white bow :)
